Lone Star Peptide Co. is a Houston, Texas-based research-use-only peptide supplier. We created Peptide Atlas because the information environment in this space is broken: vendor blogs written to sell product, paywalled newsletters gating basic reference data, and forum threads with no accountability or citations.
We are disclosing this ownership prominently and permanently — not as a footnote, but as a feature. A vendor that publishes a directory that could point users to competitors is demonstrating confidence. That confidence is the editorial product.
Peptide Atlas operates under the Lone Star Holdings umbrella alongside Lone Star Peptide Co. and other subsidiaries. Each operates independently with separate domains and analytics.

Every compound page on Peptide Atlas follows the same structure: mechanism, evidence summary, divergence analysis, dose reference, safety profile, and regulatory status. We do not vary this structure based on how "interesting" a compound is or how it would affect sales.
Evidence grading: We use plain-language descriptors rather than formal scoring systems. "Preclinical only" means no published human clinical data. "Phase 2" means a human clinical trial has been completed at that stage. "FDA Approved" means exactly that. We do not conflate these categories.
Divergence: The divergence indicator — High, Moderate, Low — reflects how closely community dosing protocols match published clinical or preclinical research. High divergence does not mean a protocol is dangerous. It means we cannot evaluate it against research because the research does not exist. This is the honest answer, and it is the answer you will not find on vendor blogs.
Sources: We draw on PubMed-indexed research, FDA.gov for regulatory status, ClinicalTrials.gov for trial status, and community forum data (clearly labeled as such) for dose reference figures. We do not cite unpublished claims or vendor-funded research without disclosure.
The Vendor Transparency Score is calculated entirely from submitted documentation. Vendors self-report; we verify what we can. Payment tier does not affect score.

Scores are updated when vendors submit updated documentation. Sponsored listings are labeled. All sponsored placements are disclosed in every vendor card. A vendor paying for a premium placement cannot improve their score by doing so.
